I have a mouseover effect that is working with every other browser except IE for some reason.
here is the site

I was hoping someone with experience in jQuery and IE tell me why the code would not be working in IE but every other major browser

here is the jQuery code

any help is appreciated

<script src="Scripts/jquery-1.3.2.min.js"</script>

<script type="text/javascript">

$(document).ready(function() {

$("#secondmaincontent > div").mouseenter(function(event) {

$("#leftside").css("color", "#a98b65" );

$("#leftside").css("background-color", "#2e1605" );

$("#leftside").css("border-color", "#a98b65" );

});

$("#secondmaincontent > div").mouseenter(function(event) {

$("#rightside").css("color", "#2e1605" );

$("#rightside").css("background-color", "#a98b65" );

$("#rightside").css("border-color", "#2e1605" );

});

$("#secondmaincontent > div").mouseleave(function(event) {

$("#leftside").css("color", "#2e1605" );

$("#leftside").css("background-color", "#a98b65" );

$("#leftside").css("border-color", "#2e1605" );

});

$("#secondmaincontent > div").mouseleave(function(event) {

$("#rightside").css("color", "#a98b65" );

$("#rightside").css("background-color", "#2e1605" );

$("#rightside").css("border-color", "#a98b65" );

});

});

</script>

replace 'mouseenter' with 'hover'
