hi folks - how do i get what seems to be multiple background colours with selectable text as the top layer in my email campaigns? See the mid red section for example...

I use fireworks for my html emails a lot but always keep things really simple as i dont use css. Im desperate to know how this is achieved without a style sheet? Is it inline styling?

Cheers. stu

all emails are best achieved using inline styling or can be done putting the style section in the body instead of the head. the reason being thatyahoo , google and the like strip the head of these tags

Setting up the right HTML email can be tricky, because the difference in rendering between those many email clients out there are way much bigger than the differences between browsers.

I've bookmarked a good article about HTML mailing from 24Ways from last December. I'm sure you'll get some great tips out of it.
