I have been following differing tutorials about a feedback form, a php script is one way but I don't know how to code manipulate and a free form download i'm a bit wary cos they want to collect emails from my prospective clients. So I found a site by which selecting the form/table and in 'action' giving your URL email would worrk, they say, well it didn't and it didn't go back to the page. Scripting a thankyou message seems also very difficult, is it beyond us mortals?

Can you have a look at the code and see what Im doing wrong. Am I missing some kind of ? somewhere. The page is under www.kingarchitecten.nl/contact/belmeterug (http://www.kingarchitecten.nl/contact/belmeterug) (phone me back) Verstuur means submit

I asked google for my gmail URL which they didn't give and their NL webmasters gave some code which I don't see the relevance to my problem:

<form method="post" action="mailto:jouwemail@adres.nl (jouwemail@adres.nl)">
<em>Opmerkingen:</em><br>
<textarea rows="7" cols="25" name="opmerkingen"></textarea>
<input type="submit" value="Verzenden">
</form>

I built my own site www.kingarchitecten.nl (http://www.kingarchitecten.nl/) following DW club forum instructions and after validating from W3C got a 1.0 star for my html thanks! Not bad for a beginner I thought for 1 minute before getting stuck yet again.

Code of form in table

<body class="oneColLiqCtr">
<div id="container">
<div id="mainContent">
<table width="100%" cellpadding="10">
<tr>
<th width="95" scope="col"><a href="King Architecten.html"><img src="website fotos/Logo King Architecten.gif" alt="Logo King Architecten" width="95" height="99" class="logo" id="sprytrigger1" /></a></th>
<th width="212" align="left" valign="bottom" scope="col"><a href="Verbouwingsarchitect.html">De verbouwingsarchitect</a></th>
<th width="156" scope="col"><span class="contact_verbouwen"><span class="contact_verbouwen_rood">Bel me terug voor een vrijblijvend gesprek -</span></span></th>
</tr>
</table>
<form action="contactformprocess" method="post" name="form1" id="form1">
<form action="kingarchitecten@gmail.com" method="post" name="form1" class="bodytext" id="form1">
<table width="533" border="none">

</tr>
<tr>

<td class="table_text"><input name="telefoonnummer" type="text" class="bodytext" id="telefoonnummer" size="26" maxlength="100" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<th class="table_text" scope="row"><label class="table_text">Bel me terug tussen:*</label></th>
<td class="table_text"><select name="tijd" class="bodytext" id="tijd">
<option>zo snel mogelijk</option>
<option>'s ochtends (9:00 - 12:00)</option>
<option>'s middags (12:00 - 18:00)</option>
<option>'s avonds (18:00 - 21:00)</option>
</select></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<th class="table_text" scope="row"><label class="table_text"><span class="table_text">Uw bericht:*</span></label></th>
<td class="table_text"><textarea name="bericht" cols="45" rows="4" class="bodytext" id="bericht"></textarea></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<th class="table_text" scope="row">&nbsp;</th>
<td class="table_text"><label>
<input name="Submit" type="submit" class="bodytext" id="button" value="Verstuur" />
</label></td>
</tr>
</table>
<!-- end #mainContent -->
</form></div></div>
<div class="tooltipContent" id="sprytooltip1"><span class="bodytext">Home</span></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var sprytooltip1 = new Spry.Widget.Tooltip("sprytooltip1", "#sprytrigger1");
//-->
</script>
</body>
</html>

please edit your post and wrap the code in code tags

You cannot have two form tags following each other like you did.
The ACTION attribute needs to link to your form handling script.

You can not make a form like this unless you understand the basics or the fundamentals of how forms work.

We have one tutorial on this website:
http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/dreamweaver-php-form.php

If you want alternatives follow this search result link:
http://www.google.com/search?q=dreamweaver+form
