Hello guys,

I'm stumped with this situation. I had come into the site searching for a solution to a div falling behind an embedded flash file and found the solution - wmode="transparent". It started working excellently.

However, after having to play around with the styling of the site in order to get the site working, it doesn't seem to want to work anymore on all browsers except IE...works fine there.

Code can be viewed here http://testserver.zonapromo.net/ccmfbla/

Thanks for any suggestions.

ps. and if you have any idea why the slideshow doesn't see my images folder would be great. It works wonderfully on my virtual server. When i upload to hosting it breaks.

You added it both to <embed> and <param>, right?

Quite honestly, wouldn't know how to use <param>. The only tag I used is <embed>

<div id="slideBox">
<div id="slideShow">
<embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="homeSlides/gallery.swf"

id="slides" name="undefined" bgcolor="#F0E0C2" quality="high" scale="noscale" menu="false"

width="400" height="300" wmode="transparent"></embed>
</div>

<div id="mainNav">
<ul>
<li class="community"><a href="index.php">The Community</a></li>
<li class="where"><a href="index.php">Where We'll Be</a></li>
<li class="contact"><a href="index.php">Contact Us</a></li>
</ul>
</div>
<div id="horLine"></div>
<div id="rightShadow"></div>

</div>

I have been reading on <object> tag for ie...but it's working fine in ie.

After reading some other articles I decided to use position relative and it worked very well on all browsers. Thanks for the efforts.

My embed knowledge might be a little rusty. Maybe param is not needed anymore.
