Hi guys
Another curious question regarding the "meta description" <- are we correct on this?
http://lh5.ggpht.com/_KdzPxzpjSX4/S1cqtWDEt2I/AAAAAAAAAYE/HNzbwr7S1TY/s800/Picture%202.png

We added all the scripts like this below:

<head>
<title>Rockgirl & Kitty's wonderland</title>

<meta name="Keywords" content="xxxxxxxxxx" />
<meta name="Description" content="xxxxxxxxx" />
<META NAME="COPYRIGHT" CONTENT="Copyright 2010." />
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />

<script language="javascript">
AC_FL_RunContent = 0;
function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
window.open(theURL,winName,features);

</head>

but somehow we test uploaded our page and googled ourselves, nothing came up...
is there a time delay for the robots to read our scripts
or something is missing?

thanks guys

xxx

The Google bot has to first crawl your page to read any updates you've done and then it needs to update its index. Depending on a few factors, for example how popular your website is, this might take anything from a day to a week(?) or longer.

Google might also just use some text from your page as the blurb in their search result pages. Afaik this is their preferred method, but they will grab the meta desc if they cannot find some suitable text from the page.
