Hi guys,

I'm getting really frustrated with my website, and I dont know how to fix this problem.

I designed my site in flash, opened a new html file in dreamweaver and inserted the swf. tested the file in my browser (Firefox) and it worked fine. But here's the problem My web site is www.s249794688.website.co.uk (http://www.s249794688.website.co.uk)
my domain name is www.alanjohnscott.com (http://www.alanjohnscott.com) so when you enter my domain name it re-directs to my site, but keeps the domain name, if that makes sense? When I view the page source in the browser for www.s249794688.website.co.uk (http://www.s249794688.website.co.uk/) I get this code:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="/favicon.ico (http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/forum/view-source:http://s249794688.websitehome.co.uk/favicon.ico)">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" />
<title>Alan Scott Graphic Design</title>

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0" width="1024" height="768" title="Alan Scott Graphic Design">
<param name="movie" value="MyPortfoliov2.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<embed src="MyPortfoliov2.swf (http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/forum/view-source:http://s249794688.websitehome.co.uk/MyPortfoliov2.swf)" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="1024" height="768"></embed>

Which is what I have entered in Dreamweaver, and the page looks at it should, It displays the correct name in the tab and it shows my favicon.

BUT if you type alanjohnscott.com into the browser I get this code:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Frameset//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-frameset.dtd">

<meta name="keywords" content="" />
<meta name="description" content="" />
<frameset rows="100%">
<frame src="http://s249794688.websitehome.co.uk (http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/forum/view-source:http://s249794688.websitehome.co.uk/)" title="myWeb" frameborder="0" noresize="noresize"/>
<p><a href="http://s249794688.websitehome.co.uk">http://alanjohnscott.com/</a></p>

Which is totally different as you can see, i no longer have my favicon, and it displays MyWeb in the tab.
I dont know where this code is coming from. If this makes sense to anyone, can you please help me? Its driving me nuts!! :confused:

hi thanks for reading.

No i dont think so i paid for the beginner package from 1and1.co.uk (http://www.1and1.co.uk) i got the domain name from there too.

Is there a way of simply changing the second code to match the first?

Also the second code is titles "Myweb" which i am sure i must have named it that at some point, but i dont know when or how? Sorry I'm not really good with all this coding, i'm more of a designer.
