Hi Everybody,

I did a search for my question and I couldn't come up with any answers.

I drew an ap div inside another div which contained an image. Everything looks fine in Dreamweaver but when I view it in a browser the alignment is off. For example, the ap div is supposed to be on the left side of the web page. When I view it in the browser the ap div is pushed about one inch from the left of where I placed it dreamweaver.

I'd appreciate any help anyone could give me.

Thanks!

BTW I used a premade CSS layout. Could this be the problem?

make your body margin and padding 0

body {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}

I ran in to the Same problem when i first started.

first in dreamweaver make sure under edit->prefrences Ap elements Nesting is checked..

Second when you create a Css Layout your Wrapper is set to Relative all elements will be fine in this

Okay,

I tried all of your suggestions but for some reason it's not working so I'm going to try something else. But, I think Ricky is right though. I need to learn CSS. Thanks for the link to CSS, Rick.

And thank you everybody for all of your help.
