i have some problems with my site.

1. i want to center all the content.

link: http://nits4u.110mb.com/

2. i have used a "current" class in navigation to mark the current page in which i use black as text color with white bg. But it does not change the color of text.

3. A gap show between each "li" in IE6 and 7, while chrome shows some of the content of each list item.

thank You

line 7 closes the head tag prematurely delete it.
yo are calling for#txt but the oly styling i saw was for text and a tags. you could make the #txt centre if you gave it some width attributes and auto margins

Try this for centring

body {
text-align : center ;
div.wrapper {
width: 1000px;
text-align: center;
margin: auto;
position: relative;

Your colour problem is because, even with the colour specified in in 'current', the fact that it is a link over-rides the style. That is why it remains white, because it is still a link.

You'll need to rethink this one.

@ Corrosive

thanx for the consideration.
I redesign my link problem and it is solved. :)

but centering problem is still there. :|

and what abt. the third problem ?

Re: the centring. Your width looks too wide for me. Try changing it to about 800px and see if that helps. I'm afraid that I didn't really understand the third question. Could you explain a bit further please?

well on page places of interest, the main content i.e list of places(red color).
That list is perfect in firefox. But in IE6&7 some gap appear between each list item. And in chrome when you click on the list item, only some of the text is shown. Means list item does not expand fully.
Hope you are clear now :)

I've looked through your code and can't see anything obvious. I do see the issues you are talking about in the browsers though. I have tried various accordions in the past and always had display issues.
