View Full Version : Hide <DIV> in design view

Hello all. I have a page which displays a "Please wait while page loads" logo within a div while the page loads in the background. Well, when in Dreamweaver design mode, I can't see the rest of my page. Is there a way to hide the <DIV> so I can see the other parts of the page? The Div is designed to be 100% of page height and width, so I am sure that is part of it. I just don't want to have to comment out the code while working with the rest of the page. I am using DW CS3.

just comment it out... it's a simple and quick solution, and you don't need that div anyway while you're working on the site. Another solution would be to make the changes in code view.

You can also use a design time style sheet. Here's some info… (http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/9.0/help.html?content=WScbb6b82af5544594822510a94ae8d6 5-7e17.html)

Thank you DWcourse. Turning off the CSS Styles at least helped me see what was behind the Div. That was my main reason was to see what a page was when opening it in DW. I have several pages with reports, and sometimes the file name just isn't enough to remember what page it is.

Thanks again,
