Hello. Apologies if this has been asked before.

I am creating a new site in DW CS4. It's a simple site as I'm a designer not a developer. I'm using a template with an editable region for content.

My question is:

I have a menu on the left hand side, which is the height of my home page content. Can I make it so that on longer pages of content, it resizes itself?

Two example pages: Home page (menu table matches content).

Other page with a lot of content... the menu table stays the same.

I'd like it so that there's always a blue strip down the left hand side. I tried setting the height to 100% but that didn't work.

Hope this makes sense and someone can help!?

Unless you set an individual style for the menu between the head tags of each page then you will struggle to get it the same height. In my opinion you would just be replacing empty white space with empty blue space and I think the design looks great as it is.

nice site btw. you have a typo though: "members area"
should be "members' area" ;)

Thanks Dave - there'll be more where that came from - I need to proof the site. Sorted the table issue too :)
