Hi,
I was working on my site when all of a sudden I noticed my include files are not working....

THey are referenced correctly and permissions are set correctly and syntax is correct.... but they dont work

I downloaded the files and code for one page from my remote server(which works perfect) and they still dont work on my local machine.....

I am starting to think some configuration files are messed up somewhere on my local machine but have no idea where to start.... any ideas?:confused:

still having this problem if anyone has any ideas.... double checked my local testing settings and everything is correct. here is my code for one of the pages that doesnt work.... <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><!-- InstanceBegin template="/Templates/videoTemp.dwt" codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" -->
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="doctitle" -->
<title>Video</title>
<script src="Scripts/swfobject_modified.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<!-- InstanceEndEditable -->
<style type="text/css">
<!--
@import url("styles/main.css");

-->
</style>
</head>

<body>
<div id="container">

<?php include("includes/bannerNav.php"); ?>

<!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="mainContent" -->

In IE8 when i go to test locally, a screen pops up asking if I want to save or open the file... Cant remember what that means is wrong.... any ideas?

Turns out there was a compatibility issue with the htaccess file i was using for my remote server and my local machine. Found that out at the wamp forums

I have to add php5 to my remote server with AddType x-mapp-php5 .php, which was screwing everything up with my local server which already has php5 installed.
