Thank goodness I found this forum. OK, this will probably be a simple question:
I have a 400 page website that I have built, and have been running for a year, but when I went to work on a page, something strange happened in "design view". Instead of the page looking like it did when it is on the website, the images and text were all stacked strangely (like when you a view a website on a Blackberry) So there you go... I am sure it is something simple, but I cannot figure out how to get this back to the normal view.

Thank you so much..

Joel

You've not deleted a stylesheet or anything like that?

That is very strange indeed. Everything seems to be in place on your live pages.

It was thinking it had to be something under the "view" tab, because nothing changes on my site. The good news is that it is just a viewing problem in "design view". But it is frustrating not seeing it the way it looks on the site. A great example is even the page background color is white in the design view, instead of the color on the website.

I's suspect this is at least part of your problem:

<p><img src="PicsWebsite/Header/MarGrey1.gif" width="1300" height="1100" class="place" id="background" /></p>

That's an odd way to create a background image for a page!

Just put the background image in a style rule for the body tag.

I understand, but I have been working on this site for over a year... why did it suddenly change in the design view... My point is that I had to have changed something in design view... or viewing the pages in dreamweaver..
