Hi All,
Not sure the best way to explain this so hopefully I make sense :)

Ive setup an image of my website in Photoshop with slices, exported to html etc. All good.

One thing I don't like is the ability to click and drag the slice section images around, to me it feels kinda odd - is there a way to avoid this?

I have noticed that in CSS based sites images in the background appear to be unclickable (and right clicking doesnt register on the image) is this true? Is there a way to convert my html tables into css?

Is there a better method to be doing this?

No, not good! Photoshop is good for image enhancement, but terrible to generate a HTML document. I'd recommend to search on the net for some basic CSS tutorials to find out how you setup a site with divs and CSS. Then you also will learn how you set an image as a background to a div.

hrm ok, thats what I figured. Is there an easy way to convert the HTML table code into CSS divs, or do i need to manually create it?

Not that I know of, but DW has some some CSS based templates and perhaps you will find one that match your design structure. Modify and customize it a bit if necessary. Just go for the 'act and learn' method... learn from your mistakes... this is IMOH the best way to learn things.

Oh... and of course you can ask your questions here too, but questions about websites build with tables will be ignored, because this is not the way to do so. Tables are meant for tabular data.

Thanks for the pointers, I agree on the 'act and learn' method :)
