So I have no idea what to do, Iím getting a white background/box around every single image that I insert onto the page of a template in Dreamweaver 8. No matter what format the picture is, whether itís JPG, GIF, or PNG, I get the same results for each one. I have my template split up into tables, and Iím dragging the image onto a table that is in an editable region. I also tried inserting the image onto the .DWF template itself and got this same result as well.

I save the images in Photoshop, but donít think it has anything to do with the images themselves, as it seems like itís just something thatís wrong with Dreamweaver. I read somewhere that this could be caused from the padding not being set at zero, but mine is set at zero, so I guess thatís not the issue either.

Iíve looked all over Google for answers, and canít find any help whatsoever. This is ridiculous, itís bad enough that you arenít able to freely move images in Dreamweaver, but the fact that I also have to deal with this white border is just insane.

Here are some screen shots:

Before adding an image (Everything looks as it should)

After adding an image

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Aren't these just Dreamweaver guides? I don't think they will show up when the site is on the net. If they do then try something like img {border: 0;} in your stylesheet.

Steer clear of tables for layout by the way.
