Howdy,
If we wanted to allow our users to input information about themselves and pictures to our database, and then have this information be displayed upon login, what would we have to do? We have our login and register already set up with server behaviors, can we do all of the user page with server behaviors? Or do we have to get some javascript going.

The most similar thing I could think of would be facebook or myspace's user pages. We arent making a social networking site or anything, just wondering if we could have the same setup for our users. Is it possible to make a profile page that is similar to myspaces or facebooks on dreamweaver?

Thanks for any help!

If you want the page to build dynamically from the info in the DB for that user than you will have to use PHP(server behaviors)

This is very possible with dreamweaver and PHP. Javascript will not poplualte the data from the DB, it can just make it look cool in the browser.

DW wont do much with this beyond whats in the server behaviors/DB panel. If you want a site like myspace and facebook you ineviately have to hand code some server behaviors yourself. may i suggest a book call php solutions by david powers... its one im reading now and is perfectly suited to explain this type of thing.
