Does anyone have any idea why there is a different gap between the black navigation bar and the start of my curved info boxes.

Both items that follow the nav bar are set to a margin of -20px.

The pages you can see this difference on are http://www.colourchips.co.uk
and http://www.colourchips.co.uk/antislip_surface_dressing.htm

Im slowly working on getting this site up to better css, but its taking some time. so apploigies in advanced for the messy code.

Hope i have explained myself clearly enough for people to understand.

i think it may actually have something to do with the 'main' page not updating to the newly created template.

I did not realise that this would be so full on - all the text at the moment is blockquote and i have been informed that its not good practice.
But changing it is not so easy

You've been informed correctly I'm afraid. Try your best to use the right tags for the right text. I.e. p for paragraphs, h for headers, blockquote for quotes and so on. It helps Search Engines and some users to make sense of your text ;)

Thanks corrosive.

I have started doing what you have said.
h are for header
p is for paragraphs and so on
not blockquote for all the text!
