View Full Version : Link problems

Hello Everyone,
I'm having problems with a couple of links on a site that is under construction. The links in question are in a div box and when on a separate page they work fine, but on the main page they work really odd. In fire fox everything looks fine, but when you hover over the links the hover doesn't work AND it acts like there isn't even a link there. ( i haven't put in the actual link information yet as I don't have it, so instead I had it simply link back to the index. ) In IE and Chrome you get the same effect except in addition there is a duplicate image in the upper left corner of the box. Its a mes and I tried looking through what I have done and I still can't seem to iron it out. Any advice is appreciated!

Here is the button box by itself ----> http://mindhacker.com/buttonbox.html

Here is the main page where I tried to implement it but it won't work correctly --------> http://mindhacker.com/

Keep in mind this site is still under construction and this is simply the current road block I'm on. Also, the privacy policy and the contact info links at the bottom work, but for some reason the button box doesn't.

Thanks for your input.

After the buttonbox code is added, you've added other elements that lies on top of where the absolutely positioned buttonbox is.

I would switch approach entirely and not use absolute positioning for any of this.

True, from now on I'm definitely using relative Positioning. Just need to think it out differently. It works now Thanks! . Found out that double occupying is a no no. Still learning thanks a ton. And Thanks for your patience.
