Hello,

I'm very new to web design and am figuring out AP divs.
Whenever I preview the page in Firefox the content in the AP div is always further left than in design view.
I imagine this has something to do with it referencing the upper left corner of the body in design view and then of the browser in preview... but I obviously I don't know. Searches have not been revealing...

Can someone tell me why this is happening and how to avoid it.

I'm using CS3

Thanks

Here's the CSS followed by the html. & screen shots.

#apDiv2 {
position:absolute;
left:104px;
top:503px;
width:264px;
height:56px;
z-index:1;
background-color: #CC3300;
}

<div id="apDiv2">
<div align="left">Testing Ap Div</div>
</div>
<div id="container">
<div id="header">

You've nailed it exactly. The best advice I can give is not to use AP divs. They're just going to cause you more problems as you go along.
