hi,

i've looked at this a couple of times and have this question...

how do you work out where to put your code to get the ticker in the place of your choosing in your page?

<marquee> only works in IE. It's not HTML, it's something M$ made up.

I hate to even post this but here is some HTML for an LED scroller

<center><embed src="http://www.myspacelayouts.org/generators/LED-Scroller/LCD5.swf" FlashVars="t=COOL TEXT SCROLLER&msg=VISIT MYSPACELAYOUTS.ORG&b=2" quality="high" bgcolor="#000000" width="450" height="60" name="LCDScroller" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="samedomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /><br><font size="-2"><a href="http://www.myspacelayouts.org">MySpaceLayouts.org</a></font></center>

Of course its a Myspcae thing but it might work for you, then again, it might be too cheezy for you

I'd try to look into a JavaScript framework like jQuery. It makes it easy for designer to implement JavaScript without having to know much code,

Hi,
Thanks for all your replies, I have found a script and saved the script in a js file in a Javascript Folder within my Styles Folder !, I have then inserted this code
<div id="newsticker"><script type="text/javascript" src="Javascript/Newsticker.js"></script>
</div>
into my page and everything works fine, I was wondering do I need to insert any code between the head tags of my website !

Cheers,
