Hi again,

I have a main content area which is a <div> area, and I have a load of text, with a scroll bar on the right hand side.. My problem is that...

In IE the <div> background scrolls along with the text, and seems to 'tile' or 'repeat'..
However in FF, the bacground stays static and the text ONLY scrolls, I prefer this FF way, how can I make it compatible in both?!

Thanks a lot!
:)

You just need to fix your code.

Joke aside, you forgot to provide a link so we can see what is wrong 8)

thanks domedia!

Here is the CSS rule applied to the area:

-------
.main_content {
background-image: url(images/contentBox.jpg);
height: 480px;
width: 814px;
overflow:auto;
text-transform:none;
color: #523120;
}

.floatleft {
float: left;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-right: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
margin-left: 0px;
}
.floatright {
float: right;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-right: 5px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
margin-left: 0px;
}

H2 {color:#990066; font-size:26px; text-align:center

}

img.b {
border: 4px double #65503D;
margin: 5px;

}
--------

Would anything here be the problem?

Or do you also need to see the page source code?

Thanks in advance!
:)

The CSS file is fine. But the CSS file is irrelevant really without the rest of the page. Can you put the whole page somewhere on the web?

djshongo, in my experience it's much easier to get help if you put the whole page up somewhere temporarily on the web. So it's viewable in the browser.
It's a little hassle, but makes everything much easier :)
