I'm wondering what the basic technique is to do this:

www.rim.net (http://www.rim.net)

What I'm looking at is how the "actual website" is in a smaller box.

I sucessfully did this in Dreamweaver. But I'm teaching myself to code CSS by hand. I'm reading books right now, but they are hundreds of pages.

If somebody could tell me the basic code strategy that would be great.
I can see that the rim.net site has a repeating 1 pixelwide gif to get the color variation. But I'm looking to simply have the background color be a regular color.

body {background-color:#??????;}

If you did it successfully in Dreamweaver, look at the code of the page you created.
