I'm working on creating a simple CSS navigation bar. It's in a horizontal div container with a colored background image. The links are simple text words in the div container. So for example, if you clicked on the word Microsoft in the navigation bar, the page would go to http://www.microsoft.com

When I test the page in internet explorer, the text word that is being used as a link becomes GIGANTIC (like 72pt font) when you click on it. Then when you return to the page from where you linked to by hitting the back button, the link is still gigantic until you click somewhere on the webpage.

Any idea what code issue this is and how to fix it?

thanks, that did the trick!

there is something called a:active. It was set to 100 pixels for some reason. I set it back to normal and it's working fine now.
