View Full Version : Help Brining Flash button to Dreamweaver/webpage?!?!

Hello all,

I've created an animated button in flash cs3, and wanted to bring my work onto a webpage. I am using dreamwaver cs4, and want to know how, the only thing I know how to do on dreamweaver is bring in the whole movie clip, but this just won't do... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

ps: just bringing it onto a webpage is my question...

have you tried
insert > media> swf

well yes, but it brings in the entire movie, which is huge! I just want to import the small button

the button is an swf file though no?

yes, it is in an swf, but the swf is way too big, I want to import JUST THE BUTTON, not the entire movie file... Is this possible, im noob, so any help or alternate would be greatly appreciated... THANKS!

Well it is easy but nothing to do with dreamwever!!!
Open CS4/CS3(flash) open your xXx.fla then MENU create new flash document autoscript 2.0 resize the backround to the window u wish go back to xXx.fla select button copy button to new document.
Select button again go to action and change html://
