View Full Version : Need Help with Table size in Browser

I am building a website and have this problem: my table in dreamweaver design view has the right height for certain rows with text. However in the browser view the row height is wider and I don't know how to control it and tell the browser to show the exact same table size as in my design. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!:)

OK, that doesn't really make a lot of sense. Each row of a table can vary according to content. The row will always be the height of the largest bit of content. You've said that, in Design View, the row height is wider...do you mean taller?

A link to what you are talking about might help.

Yes - you are right, indeed a poor choice of words...:)
The row has three cells and each one has text. the text is one or two words so there is no word wrapping. in design view each cell (and row) is in the exact height for the text size, however in the browser the row is much taller and has margins above and below the text. any properties value I put in like H does not change the height, it's like something else is controlling my row height but I cannot figure out what it is.

the explanation is clearer but a link would still help.
