Hey guys, I have been working on a site for my retouching business and all I need are some rollover images and possibly a php code for clients to upload onto my ftp directly. My problem is.................

...who should I get to host my site?

I figured this is a great place for answers and I could really use them, with so many out there, I just want reliability, customer service, unlimited data transfer ftp and what not. Any sugestions???

Thanks in advance!

Thanks and sorry for my ignorance

i'd go with 1and1.com. they support every time of code as far as i know and have tons of admin features from security to e mail to 24/7 live tech support for a good price.

The mentions of 1and1.com on this forum has been mainly negative.

I've used them myself so I can say their network and connectivity is excellent, but their support is probably one of the worst ones I've experienced in the whole industry. Also See Ed's advice on searching the forum. You can search the web as well.

In hosting they usually say: Quality, support, price.. choose two ;)

I am with DM on this... had a client used them to by space and domain turnout to be a pig when i tried to work with them... streamline is also one to stay clear and also fasthost can be a little tricky, Mr Site is also really bad for server uptime, one client down 3 times in 6 months. I find normally hosting companies offer 3 months free and then a really cheap monthly subscriptions have poor tech support, or poor uptime and ability to work with PHP and SQL etc....
