Guys I am having a nightmare since changing from frontpage.

My website www.thegtb.co.uk (http://www.thegtb.co.uk) has a slide in menu on the left of some pages.

I have just been told by some friends that when this is now viewed in firefox the whole background of the page turns red, then stays white when the menu slides back in again.

Is there a way to fix this problem ?

It never used to happen before I converted.

yes it does. without going to far into it i suspect it is somehow using these values BODY {scrollbar-3dlight-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-arrow-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-base-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-track-color:#000000;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-face-color:#000000;
scrollbar-highlight-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-shadow-color:#FF0000}
im not sure there purpose actually
i would put
background-color: #000:
color:#FF0000;
in the body style and take out
bgcolor="#000000" text="#FF0000"from the body tag itself

BODY {scrollbar-3dlight-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-arrow-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-base-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-track-color:#000000;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-face-color:#000000;
scrollbar-highlight-color:#FF0000;
scrollbar-shadow-color:#FF0000}

It looks like CSS, but it's not. It's something MS made up and like you experienced, it can really mess it up for other browsers, although I'm pretty sure FF is set up to ignore any properties it does not recognize.

Many thanks, To be honest I didn't really understand the reply so I have gone through and changed all the web pages removing the coloured scroll bars.

I'm bound to have missed some but at least the main pages work ok now.

I broke a golden rule and didn't check it in firefox after I changed from frontpage to Dreamweaver.

Thanks for replies guys.
