View Full Version : Looks right in Firefox and IE, but wrong in Dreamweaver

YOu can go to http://www.vangarnett.com/help/ to see what I am talking about.

Here is the nut of it:
The pages are correct when displayed in the browser, but are screwy when viewed in Dreamweaver.
This wouldn't be a problem but the client is going to be editing content via Contribute and I'm sure this will confuse them. I don't know what to do to make the area that is obviously floating (area with text and picture) appear within the content area (the area you can see behind the floating area in DW...it has a blue gradient )

Please help!

If it looks right in the browser (and you've checked Safari, FireFox and IE 6,7 and 8 - right), then they'll just need to learn to live with it in DW/Contribute

You can't trust design view. Like course said if it looks right in the browsers you'll have to learn to live with it.

This happens to me all the time, the WYSIWYG in Dreamweaver doesn't preview like browsers do, so you just have to learn to check in preview all the time and work with it that way
