I'm developing a friends site and am using DW CS4 to construct it. So far I have competed most of my pages and decided to upload it to my server to make sure it all works when previewed live. So far I've tested the site on 3 different browsers, Internet Explorer 8, Fire Fox 3 & Safari 4, all 3 seem to be doing the same thing.

The problem I'm experiencing is that once you open the website (http://blimpmedia.com.au/think/01) and try clicking on TESTIMONIALS, the page returns with an error. If you check the url, you will notice that the page is trying to load without the .html tag. Now if you click on the HOME link and then cycle through the other links, the site works as expected.

I'm totally confused, any suggestions?

in Dw, open your index page then in the <div#navBar highlight TESTIMONIALS. Go to the properties panel at the bottom and click on html then in the Link section, just add the .html extention to /think/01/testimonials. It should be like this /think/01/testimonials.html. That should solve the issue.

MagicPower,

Thank you so much, works perfect now.

Not sure if this is up your alley, on my contact us page I have added a form and styled it using CSS. When I try previewing this page on different browsers, I get different results.

Here are a few snapshots.

In DW it looks like this while I'm working on it:

Previewed in FireFox 3.0.11 the form looks like this:

Previewed in Safari 4.0.2 I get this:

And last but not least, in Internet Explorer 8 I get this:

Is there anyway in having all these look the same as the FireFox version?

give each TexField a new css rule. for example click on the message TextField and then new css rule. Below as follows

name = #name > box > width = 270 px
phone = #phone > box > width = 270 px
email = #email > box > width = 270 px
message = #message > box > width = 270 px

widthwise they should all look the same and aligned accordingly. you can increase the width if you want to.

BTW on the index page you also need to add the .html extension to the following links, i'm not sure if you have noticed them yet.
