Hey all... what a lovely day in the city!

A friend needs to build a blog for a school but the local authority server does not have .php (and are loathe to install it as they are lazy incompetent &^%$)

They are running .asp and can have a sql database (I think? They can't have mysql anyway)...

Anyone know if any of the big blogs run on .asp ? I can't find any...

Not directly to your question but: Why wouldn't they have their blog on another server? Does it matter to them which server it's hosted on?

Yes, it's a school so the data is very sensitive. it has to be on the local authority server... stupid to force you to use it and then not have upto date technology but that's the UK education system!

In case no ASP people comes around:

OT: How is *any* of the data on a blog sensitive? :) The code is open source and the blog entries are public. Sounds like they're shooting themselves in the foot.

ANY data relating to children is considered sensitive... people are hyper-sensitive about this stuff...
