Hi,

I use CS4 in code view and know just enough to get things done. I've never used templates yet, but am working off of what appears to be a DWT template, but it's a .php file. At some point either through cutting and pasting or ??? some of my footer code got locked out due to an #EndEditable tag sitting above it. There's no other related tags like #BeginEditable or something.

I want to remove the tag and make everything editable, but can't get that thing out of there. How can I remove #EndEditable and have freedom?

Thanks guys.

Those template tags are in comments so you can remove them without messing up your html. Just make sure you get rid of all the template markup.

Also, you can remove all the template code in a page by selecting menu: Modify>Templates>Detach from Template

Modify>Templates>Detach from Template

That did the job. It would not let me delete the tag otherwise.

Thanks so much!
