Hi All,

I had this trivial question: When I edit a CSS stylesheet in dreamweaver, how do I get all the pages this style sheet is attached to. Like for templates, we get to see the list of pages that will be updated. Is there something similar for style sheets?
Thanks,
Manju

An external style sheet is linked to the pages that use it. So you only have to update the style sheet and the changes will "flow" through to the pages that reference it.

It's one of the many advantages to using CSS.

DWcourse,
Thanks for the quick reply! But, is there no way we can find which are those pages that have a particular style sheet attached. I need this so that I can verify the changes in style in these pages. But, I currently do not know which pages I need to verify after making changes to a style sheet.

Thanks,
Manju

Do a site-wide search in the source code for the name of the .css file. Clicking Find All will give you a list of all the pages linked to the CSS file.

(make sure you don't accidentally search and replace!)
