My css menu works great in firefox, safari, IE6 + IE7, but not at all in IE8.

It is one the first one i have created from roughly looking at some others and going from there (a lot of trial and error)

 Im not sure now how to get it right for IE8?
I dont have IE8 installed on any computers so I just used a site that makes screen shots of various browsers.

Any help would be great.

validate your document first http://validator.w3.org/ adnn when you've fixed the errors - particularly the list ones - then post bnack if it's still not working

I am looking for a tutorial or the code for a basic css horizontal drop down menu... Im currently using javascript to do this and have been told css is a much better option. I have found a couple of online tutorials but the user reviews report of issues with IE6 and IE8. Does anyone know a good tutorial that will work across browsers?

I have has a good look into my menu, and after some well needed help from a professional. I have fixed it. Seems my menu structure was all wrong! good lesson learnt.

One think im still not sure of...
how do you code for a menu item to open in a new window (ie: target=blank)

eg. www.drivestone.co.uk
I want the "RICHCO PRODUCTS" to open in another window.

See code below:

<li><a href="http://www.richcoltd.co.uk/richco_systems.htm">Richco Products</a></li>
