Im trying to build up my web skills.

I have been using basic HTML in dreamweaver and also css. Im self taught in css (as most people are) - after doing a waste of time and money course in dreamweaver last year, where they only taught us about frames and tables.

I would like to build my skills, especially in CSS page layouts, CSS dropdown menus and just basically all things CSS.

Im hoping someone can tell me of a good site to get free tutorials or anyone that provides lessons (ive looked into the PHP lessons that a member is advertising, where you just give a donation to say thanks).

Once my css and html skills are at a good level - i would also be looking into learning javascript (but one step at a time i think)

Look forward to anyones help.
cheers. Tamara.

I use www.totaltraining.com, it costs around 200 a year but you get training videos for the whole adobe CS3, CS4 suite and loads more, it helped me get to grips with the basics of dreamweaver and there's advanced stuff on there as well. I also use the visual quickstart guide books, they cover just about every program avaliable, I buy them off amazon.

I have total training dreamweaver CS3 DVDs going cheap if anyone wants to buy them off me (I brought the DVDs from a different company and then found out you can do all the training online). PM me if your interested.

You can try this site http://www.sebastiansulinski.co.uk (http://www.sebastiansulinski.co.uk/) - there's a collection of the dreamweaver and other application tutorials. You can learn how to build dynamic applications with dreamweaver.

tutvid is terrible training, the guy on there is rubbish and a lot of training on you tube is of dubious quality.

Use Lynda.com or total training but Lynda is the best.

Lynda only you adobe certified instructors not saying this is totally crucial but least you know you are being taught by an expert unlike tutvid. That guy needs some good training his self.
