My initial impression was that I like it.

The general consensus among Search Engine types seems to be that it has some good features but no one really expects it to make a dent in Google's market share (although everyone hopes it will).

Let see what the multi-million dollar ad campaign does.

same impression really.
i think its funny that pop opinion is hoping msn makes a dent in market share though its usually turn your head and spit when that name is mentioned :)

edbr, absolutely! I can't believe I'm rooting for MS but I think a counterbalance to Google is needed.

It's going to be interesting to see if it survives. They'll have to get it absolutely right or it will go the same way as Lycos and disappear into the shadows. Google is so integrated into our lives through not really being challenged in the last five years that I just feel bing is doomed to failure or the battle will be so bloody and messy that the public will lose out.

i suspect so , i searched for a few items and it was a very dissapointing set or returns, in fact about 9/10 were duplicated results. In the real worl it might depend on which can find the best porn sites, who knows :)

Just looked at which of our client sites are included and very disappointed. Ours is there though.

Old habits die hard. I had an initial favorable impression but I really haven't made the effort yet to change my search habits away from Google.

I haven't used it since I last read this thread...

I don't even want to make it my default homepage... I don't know why?
