Hi everyone

I want my back like the one on this website http://www.grsites.com/

I have got the background image which looks like this http://static1.grsites.com/images/fadestrip2.png

But I can't seem to put it as a background properly. I need the image to stretch depending on the webpage like it has on the website. How do I do this?

As you can see the background image is quite small but on the actual website it is huge because it carries on all the way down to the bottom of the page.

Please help

Thanks everyone

background repeat

if the small image was repeated the background would keep going from dark to light.

The website has it so that the dark is at the top and the rest is light :S

They have put the background so that the first image is shown at the top and the rest is filled in with this

How do i do this?

They've added a couple of nested divs that contain the whole page. The first one has the main background image (repeated) and the second (inside the first) has the darker background image (repeated x-only)

right okay so the first one only has to be repeated like a normal background. How would i do the top part though?

How do I make a nested div so it adjusts according to screen size?

Just take a look at the source of the page and its style sheet:

You don't copy anything. You study the approach and use the same technique for you website. 8)
