hi again,

I am really having a frustrating time with this one.
I have used a div to create a title header.
I want to be able to click on this header on each page to bring me back to my homepage.
what is the best way?
a) to make the text a link or
b) to make an invisible button?
when i make the div text a link it turns blue and underlined.
(i figured out how to turn the underline off, but it is still blue).

so what is the best way to do this?

thank you!

Make the text a link and create a css style for it that sets the text-decoration to none and the color to what you like. Also create a style for the visited state of the link or it will turn purple once a visitor has clicked on it.

thanks.

I have figured out how to make all links on the page do this, in modify page properties, but since i might want different links to be different colors, i wanted to know the better way.

so i have to create a new css style and apply it to this heading.
but i can figure out how to apply it.
i make "new style" in the css area. format it, and then how do i apply it to this heading?

Assuming you made a class style, select the heading and then in the properties palette choose the style from (in CS4):

the class menu in the HTML tab.

OR

the Apply Class section of the Targeted Rule menu in the CSS tab.

Check out Coloeagle's quick tutorial on multiple link styles. It will help a lot...
