hi,
i have been searching all over the internet for a register and login PHP tutorial, or even code, and i can only find sites that need you to have a PHP server, and MySQL, but has anyone got a link to a tutorial, or one its self that explains how to use register/login, but you dont need to have a server.
If i need to know anything i dont have, like the password for the MySQL database or anything, its fine i can ask for it.

You can build your register/login locally with a testing server like WAMP but you'll need to have a host who supports PHP at some stage. Try this for a login script tutorial...

Thanks

Hosting says they have PHP.

This tutorial uses SQL manager.. so do you need YOUR computer be the testing server or the SQL server??

Install WAMP and set that as your testing server. Run through the tutorial and then upload it to your server.

i know this may confuse you at this stage but now is a good time to get EMS MYSQL Manager for database administration duties

http://sqlmanager.net/products/mysql/manager

the freeware link is halfway down the page
