Heya!

I've recently started designing a web page in dreamweaver. The image was created in Photoshop. I've now saved that image for Web and have opened it
in dreamweaver and want to add the flash SWF player onto it but don't know how to. Everytime I try, the player goes beneath the image and not embedded within the image which is what I want. The image size takes up the whole page, so it's not small either. I can get the SWF player to work in a separate HTML page of its own, but embedding it will be the ideal thing.
This is the code for embedding the flash SWF player:

<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.fakedomain.com/myname/audio/audio-player.js"></script>
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://www.fakedomain.com/myname/audio/player.swf" id="audioplayer1" height="24" width="290">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.fakedomain.com/myname/audio/player.swf">
<param name="FlashVars" value="playerID=1&amp;soundFile=http://www.fakedomain.com/myname/audio/music.mp3">
<param name="quality" value="high">
<param name="menu" value="false">
<param name="wmode" value="transparent">
</object>

Any idea how this could be embedded within a picture/image or background picture?

Much appreciate anybody's feedback:smile:

make a div with your image as a background

will also need to ensure that you set the wmode transparent parameter to true to see through the swf

The DIV tag worked beautifully. I would just like to note for anybody out there that would like to do a similar thing, that I first ended up 'slicing' the area that I wanted to embed the flash audio with Photoshop first. I also saved that section as 'No Image', to be able to edit it later. I saved it as an HTML file. Then, I opened it up in Dreamweaver and selected the area I wanted to edit and made sure that I could see the code. I inserted the DIV tag and within it I pasted my code for embedding a flash audio SWF player. Worked a gem.

Thanks for the help).
