View Full Version : Flash in header blinks from page to page

I have a flash banner as my header at the top of every page throughout my website. As I move from page to page, the flash banner reloads making it look like it blinks. Is there anyway to keep it from "blinking" and continuing to play as you move from page to page?
Don't want to use frames, but can't think of any other way.

I think you might have designed yourself into a corner. This is why you don't see flash 'banners' used as website headers.

If you start using frames for this, you'll sacrifice standards and usability for an animation i your header.

this may not be relevant , but never stopped nme before.
as a personal taste i am not a fan of animation on a swebpage , i find iMo it can distract the visitor from the content , however i do use it if I want to draw attention to a further service or content. but i tend to use it on chosen pages and on others use a standard image of the finished state of the animated movie. as i said this is presonal taste and am not trying to start a debate on pros and cons of animation on sites
