The great thing about tables are that they adjust based on the containing data. Just leave it blank and it will adjust automatically.

that will set the minimum height of that cell but it might vary due to the contents or the height of other cells in the same row. Height of the whole table depends upon the heights of all the rows.

Yes, of course. It's easier. You can make changes to your whole website from one file.

CSS can be confusing at first but it's well worth the effort. the more you know the more powerful it becomes. Besides it's the future.

And just for the record you have no idea how difficult tables could be before the browsers got them sorted out!
