.twoColLiqLtHdr #header
and
.twoColLiqLtHdr #container #header

2. How can I acess the browser out of the layout is the body?

3. I want to add a horiontal list to the header so should I use the list in the same div as for header or should I create different div for the list?

4. what is the class fltlft ? is the inbuit class becuase I dont see it in the source code.

5. I am unable to change the color of all the list element becuase of the bacground image color, when using li{color:color-name;} i am getting the color change of the first element only.

1. If this is the CSS file:
.twoColLiqLtHdr #header <= selects the #header if it's a descendant of .twoColLiqLtHdr
.twoColLiqLtHdr #container #header <= selects the #header if it's a descendant of #container which is a descendant of .twoColLiqLtHdr

2. That sentence does not make any sense.. rephrase?

3. If it needs to be in the header, you need to put it inside the header :)

4. A stylesheet might have many classes and ID's defined that might not output on all pages

5. Can you show an example of this?

Sorry for not writting properly here are my questions

1. I have following code
body{class = "liquid"}
<div id= "main">
<div id= "head"></div>
</div>

so what is the difference between "#liquid #main head" and "#liquid head" Because when i started with three column and one head and foot template I found this type of lines in css code

2. here is my code for list

<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css"
type="text/css">
<div id="header">
<ul>
<li><a href="main.html">HOME</a></li>
<li><a href="about_us.html">ABOUTUS</a></li>
<li><a hreh="contact_me.html">CONTACT
ME</a></li>
</ul>
</div>

and css is as

#header ul {
list-style-type: none;
list-style-position: inside;
padding-top: 109px;
padding-right: 10px;
padding-bottom: 10px;
padding-left: 30px;
margin: auto;
color:green;
}
#header li {
float: right;
padding: 10px;
color:green;
}

it's giving me two problems as
a. one is only changing the color of contact me
b. also its not underline while home and about us is underline

I have one more question here :
c. can is #header ul li{.......} and #header li{....} is same ?

3. If style sheets has the things which are not displayed then I can remove them ...right. I wanted to know if it is for some usefull purpose which I am unable to understand

Thanks for answer small questions

body{class = "liquid"} you have a class named liquid? if so it should be <body class="liquid">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css"
type="text/css"> should be in the head section
