I am having a bit of trouble with z index in ie7 I have got the desired look in all other browsers.

I have a div with the postion set to relative inside that div I have a paragraph also set to relative. I have a ap div offset over the top, postioned to the top right with a image inside so i can overlap the text on the image slightly. So i have set the z-index of the ap div to 1 and the paragraph to 2.
Works fine in FF Safari Chrome just not ie7 the ap div still stays at the front ?

does any one have any ideas?

Honestly I don't know.
I think you're approach is giving you issues. Why don't you just create a regular layout not using z-index?
