Is there a way of changing the down state of a page when the navigation bar was created in the template? Basically I want to let the users know which section of the website they are in.

Dreamweaver should have some kind of functionality for this.
Anyone?

I'd just add a class to the menu item based on the page they are visiting. For example on your home page you might have a list like this...

<ul id="your-list">
<li class="current">Home<li>
<li>About<li>
<li>Sales<li>
<li>Contact Us<li>
</ul>

Make sure your 'current' class has something to identify the page you are on, possibly an underline on the word or a different background colour. Then add the class to the list items based on which page is current. I.e. if a user is on the 'Sales' page the code will be...

ul id="your-list">
<li>Home<li>
<li>About<li>
<li class="current">Sales<li>
<li>Contact Us<li>
</ul>

You'll have to play around with styles and see what works and also make sure you check it cross-browser. Hope this helps. :)
