Ok, this is a very nooby question, but I couldn't find the answer so far.

Say, you found a particular border color on the web you like. How do you lookup a color value from a graphic image in Photoshop or Dreamweaver or some other application, so you can replicate and then modify?

Choose the eyedropper tool and click anywhere in your image.
The color will be selected on the bottom of your toolbar. Click the color in your toolbar and the Color Picker window will show up with the hex rgb value.

If you use Firefox as your browser you can use an add-on called Colorzilla that adds an eyedropper into FF.
