Hi,
I'm currently working with a site and I'm not sure who is their host...
I've made forms before but the host has provided me the tag for making the form work.
I've looked through the cpanel and files, but cant seem to figure this out.
Can someone help show me what or how to make this form work?

current form is here
www.cccsumter.com/home.html

Thanks

That code I just made up from a previous site I did.

I'm missing the cgi or php.

I don't even know how to make one or how that works.
Does the cgi or php send the file to a particular email address or do I have to specify?

hi,
i took me a while to work this out too - I'd recommend the php and mysql tutorials at tizag: http://www.tizag.com/ if you want to understand how it works and get a step by step instructional...
a database is the way forward - set up a mysql db on the server (it's probably already installed) then (if I remember correctly!) you use the "post" action on the form to send the user data to a php file on your server which contains the mysql code to insert the user data into your database.
It might sound complex but it's actually not too bad (once you understand it, which is why I recommend you spend a few hours going over those tutorials!)
all the best,
Mark

edit: there are some good tutorials on this site too!: http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/tutorials.php
