View Full Version : controlling window size?

Hey guys, here's my latest problem, haha...

I host virtual tours for real estate listings.. they're linked from various websites tied to the local multiple listing service... On each of these sites, the links are programmed to open in a new window.

I need to know how to code my HTML to resize the window to the appropriate size to show my entire page. The MLS company says they can't do it on their end, so it has to be contained within my pages HTML...

I have no idea how to go about doing this.. Does anyone out there have some help for me?

are you using iframes to get these pages?

No, the page opens in a new window from a link on the MLS data page...

Here's an example:

Click on property tour in the tan bar through the middle of the page and it'll take you to my tour link...

in the file http://www.utahrealestate.com//js/common.js
this value is selected depending on an argument for a given item

var helpWinWidth = 225;

I have no control over that file, and the company that does tells me they cannot control the size of the window that opens for me because it's too much work for them to do it for all of their various tour vendors...

Any solution needs to be contained within the coding of my page (the revolutionhometours link that opens when you click property tour from that link.

Use Onload to change the width and height of the window.
