I have set up my divs for my
#header
#nav
#maincontent
and #footer...

I have set my pages background image in my body css.

I want my Divs to have transparent backgrounds but am unable to achieve this effect It has to be something simple right? Or am I totally missing something here....

body {
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 100%;
color: #000;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
text-align: center;
background-image: url(DealerSites/Omega_Computers/IMAGES_MAIN/omegasimplebackgradient.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat-x;
background-color: #EEE;
}
#container{
width: 760px;
background: #ffffff;
text-align: left;
margin: 0 auto 0 auto;
}
#header {
background: HELPMEPLEASE????

Ok so this worked but I had to go into my body tag and add it in ;)

also when you do this if you are using any spry objects within your page using borders it will cause problems.

It seems you have to turn the borders off to get it to display right in IE 6 (shakes fist)

Thanks for the css my friend.
