Hello,

I have two questions regarding "Keywords";

1: What is the ideal quantity of keywords each page should have?
2: Is it best to include this within the code or link to some external sheet? if it's the latter, who?

and yes, I do realise it's now three questions :-D

1. Doesn't really matter they are pretty much redundant now. Description should be used though.
2. between the <head> tags somewhere on your page. No links needed.

meta keywords have no influence on SEO or anything else important.
Don't worry about it.

So what's replaced them?

So what's replaced them?

Good markup, correct use of tags (h1, h2 etc.) well written text in your page with some carefully chosen phrases and words.

Keywords were abused by people stuffing their head tags with them so Search Engines learnt to ignore them.
