Hi there, I need help (again, hehe)! :)

My boyfriend wants a internal scroll bar for the body of the website, so it does something like this... http://www.ghcafrica.co.za/company.html

I found out its called an overflow function but when I tried to integrate it into one of my pages, this one: http://big5test.starflowerdesigns.com/BProjects.html ... it came out all weird.

Can anyone help me with just one page so I can put it throughout the rest of the website?

I would like that entire white box to have the overflow function so that it has the internal scroll.

Thanks a mil! :)

Try changing overflow:scroll; to overflow:auto; This will automatically place the scroll bar when content exceeds the set height for the div.

Be sure to assign the class to the div you want to have the scroll bar.

I tried it but to no avail...

I'm still having a problem with this? Any more detailed help...

Little confused with the entire white box you refer to.

Post the html for the div you want to have scroll.

dont see why you need to position the white box relative

i think it should look something like this (you only want a vertical scrollbar to apear if the content is greater than the white box - well this is how i would do it.

<div style="overflow-y: auto; overflow-x: hidden; width: 517px; height: 550px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"/>

Coloeagle - Thanks for the tip. I had a similar issue and that fixed it right away. Thanks!
