ive been teaching myself DW for the past 7 months (and learning massive amounts from this forum). so far so good. still have tons to learn, probably always will. now i want to learn flash too.

my question is this... what is the best crash course in flash? i want to learn it properly, and fast! books are cool and serve as good reference for DW stuff, but im mostly interested in tuts in video format.

thanks!

Some great resources for Flash.

Lynda.com has some excellent courses, on both Flash in general and Action Script. This would be your best bet if you are willing to pay $25 for one months subs. Take the Essentials first and then an Action Script course if you want to go into more detail.

Also check out gotoAndLearn.com these are all free video tuts Some of the older ones are AS2 though but still excellent.

and http://www.cartoonsmart.com/

and http://tv.adobe.com/#

and http://www.swinburne.edu.au/design/tutorials/

The best forum for Flash in my opinion is http://www.kirupa.com/forum/.

Make sure that any courses you take are teaching you Action Script 3, if you are just starting out there's no point in learning AS2.

And of course ask on here if you need any help and I will help you all I can.
